When I hide comments with mentions, will the user still be notified?

CommentGuard will process the comment after Facebook. So yes, the person will still be notified of being tagged/mentioned. However, the comment will be hidden after Facebook has sent this notification so it won't be publicly visible to others.

Hidden comments and the replies to hidden comments will still be visible to the author.
