How to reply to a comment with a private message (DM)?

CommentGuard allows you to reply to comments either publicly or as private messages sent directly to the user's inbox. To send a private reply (which will be delivered to the user's Instagram Direct Messages or Facebook Messenger), simply check the "Send as private message" checkbox before clicking the Reply button.

After sending, you'll see a "(PM)" indicator next to your response in the dashboard, confirming it was sent as a private message rather than a public comment reply.
